We’re taking the U-BAHN again: in Munich & Berlin!

Over the last three years, the re:publica has been present on the screens of the Berlin U-Bahn in the run-up to the conference and especially during the conference itself. This year we are taking up our cooparation with Berliner Fester! We are happy to announce that our #rp17 trailer will also be featured in Berlin and Munich on Berliner Fenster and Münchner Fenster. We want to make the most out of being able to reach every woman and man travelling with the U-Bahn, and have teamed up with netzpolitik.org to give helpful tips concerning online privacy and security.

Starting 24 April 2017, the new re:publica trailer, designed by JUTOJO, will be playing on the 4,500 screens of the Berliner Fenster and Münchner Fenster for two weeks! The trailer gears you up for the world’s most important conference on topics concerning the digital society and invites you to grab a ticket.

During the three event days, the re:publica will fill the screens of the Berlin and Munich U-Bahn with content from the conference and tips on online privacy and security. The re:publica and netzpolitik.org editorial staff, together with trainees from the Protestant School of Journalism and Fink & Fuchs, will be delivering updates on all the highlights from the conference, tips on online security, recommendations on internet-related topics and much more. This means you can stay up-to-date even if you can’t be at the re:publica or your phone contract is being throttled again. The information is packaged into short, precise, easy-to-understand articles in cooperation with the editorial staff of the Berliner Fenster, making the re:publica 2017 the talk of the town. Of course, we can’t forget to spread the word from social media either: just like last year, we’ll be broadcasting the best tweets and the funniest, most surprising and atmospheric Instagram pics on the screens of the underground.
