Pursuing expertise in design, communications and marketing, Denise works for the World Wide Web Foundation's Open Data Labs building, strengthening and implementing communications and engagement strategies. Denise has roots in information design and digital media, a background thoroughly used as she worked several years in the advertising and creative industry. Prior to jumping to the NGO sector, she spent time in the games industry studying and developing educational and social games for various platforms. When not engaged with the more 'serious' work, Denise enjoys learning more about different cultures through traveling and finds herself occupied with her attempt to one day become a polyglot.
