Carolin Silbernagl is betterplace lab’s Minister of External Affairs a member of the board at gut.org gAG, it's roof organization. The betterplace lab is Germany’s leading think and do tank focussing on the potential of digital technology for philanthropy and social change. A political scientist by training, Carolin has been fully devoting herself to digital-social innovation since 2010. Before her role at betterplace she co-founded and lead the social startup dotHIV. Before this, she has worked as scientific staff and project manager in classic philanthropy (Robert Bosch Stiftung, sdw). At betterplace lab, she and her team inspire and empower civil society, public agencies and the corporate world to actively engage in technology for good, e.g. by exploring how IT can strengthen democracy or contribute to the integration of refugees.
