    We will be using digital fabrication technologies to create our own textile tool: a weaving loom that you will be able to bring home to start weaving your own textiles.

    This doesn’t only enable you to learn the basics of weaving but also the ones of laser cutting.

    The workshop is meant to inspire to use digital fabrication technologies to make tools and to encourage to combine both digital and analog production techniques.

Als solche müssen sie in die jeweiligen lokalen sozio-ökonomischen Strukturen eingebettet und mit der globalen (virtuellen) Gemeinschaft von FabLab-Initiativen in Austausch stehen und kooperieren. Doch funktioniert dieser Austausch? Und wie ist das mit FabLabs in sich entwickelnden oder von politischer Veränderung betroffenen Regionen im arabischen Raum? Wie gehen hier und dort (technische) Innovationen vonstatten? Wie ist der Impact solcher Initiativen einzuschätzen und wie können wir uns positiv einbringen und den Wissenstransfer zwischen den Initiativen fördern?
